Drying Out

Sunshine and dry for the first time in fourteen (not forty) days. Rivers cresting and waters receding. Still driving the long way around (the flooding) however, to get to town.

Rainy Days

Severe storms have produced large hail, tornadoes and lots of rain here in the mid-west.  Sounds like more of the same over the next three days. Flood warnings, flash flood watches and waves of rain are predicted. Grateful we still have our roof over head.
