The Painted Word

Another of Michelangelo’s prophets is the second entry in my Lenten Sundays series from the book “The Art Of Prophecy.”

    Curious about this book. I just looked it up. I have a background in Art History so this is appealing to me. Are there lots of reproduced colored pictures?

    You’ve definitely got my attention about your next project.

    1. Yes, half or more of the 113 pages are full colored inspiring images that illuminate the book. It interests me as well. The book is like a trip to the museum. My project illustrates an interesting story of historic facts however, my illustrations pale in comparison to any of these master’s works.

  2. This is awesome, Janet! You were born after your time—Michelangelo would have loved to have had some assistance on that ceiling! I believe it’s said that toward the end he free-handed his work. That would have been a sight to see.
