A Refuge

How is a blog handled when life becomes unbelievable. Unimaginable. For the second time this month, our family has suffered loss.

My Mom, Ann • June 25, 1926 – February 23, 2011

My soul, wait in silence for God only,

for my hope is from Him.

He only is my rock and my salvation.

My stronghold: I will not be shaken.

On God my salvation and my glory rest:

The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God.

Trust in Him at all times, O people:

Pour out your heart before Him:

God is a refuge for us.

Psalms 62:5 – 8

  2. I am sorry to hear of your mother’s passing and you said their was another person who passed this month, It isn’t easy for those of us left behind, but knowing they are with Jesus should bring some comfort as we all will be with Him someday and see our loved ones again. May you have many happy memories of them to help you through these hard times and the prayers of everyone to Jesus help you at this time. May Jesus also put his arms around you and comfort you. 5. The readers of your blog love you and “Tidings Of Great Joy” can not come with out some sorrow attached as without sorry how could we possibly know that we felt happiness at times in our lives. You blog is your opportunity to write when you feel like doing so. You write what gives you comfort or tears or happiness, you open your heart to whatever you feel like sharing. And whatever you decide, we will be waiting to express caring and love for you and with you. Artists, feel deeply, and you are truely an artist that your mom and dad could be proud of! Not to mention a great daughter to them! God speed your healing powers to your child Janet so that she may find some comfort tonight and Lord hold her in your loving arms Father now in her hour of need and life ever after. Amen.
